The chocolate war, chapter 1-4

In chapters 1-4 in the chocolate war, it basically just introduces the 4 main characters of the story, Jerry, a freshman that's trying out for the freshman football team even though hes not very good at football, Goober, a guy who is very athletic and is in the freshman football team, Archie, a popular guy in trinity and is the guy who manages what each boy does like sell chocolates, Obie, One of Archie's friend and his assist guy and helps him with managing. In chapter 4 it also tells us that the school has to sell 20,000 boxes of chocolate for 2 dollars each, double the amount from the year before because they need the money for the school to not go bankrupt. My response to the 4 first chapters is that its not very interesting. I think that next each boy in trinity are going to be given some boxes of chocolates and start selling the chocolates.

From the boy in striped pyjamas book, I learnt many things but the thing that I learnt most about would probably be the holocaust, I learnt how bad and cruel the holocaust was like for example I learnt that the nazi's put the Jew's in gas chambers and made them think that they were just taking a shower and kill them. I also learnt that Adolf Hitlers nick name was the Fury and that alot of the Germans which were nazi's respected Adolf Hitler very much and that they were also very cruel. I learnt that they put Jew's in to a camp and forced them to work to death and if they were too old or too young they would be put in the gas chamber. I also learnt that not all the Germans were Nazi's and some of the disapproved of Adolf Hitler killing all the jews for power, money and revenge.
